2024 IRS Tax Refund Schedule And Direct Deposit Payment Calendar

By all reports tax return processing and refund payments for the 2024 tax season are going much smoother thanks to IRS investments in technology and no new stimulus payments or tax credits to administer. However further security controls and PATH act restrictions (see below) could delay potential refund payments for some filers.

When Can I Expect My Tax Refund in 2024?

According to the IRS refunds will generally be paid within 21 days. This includes accepting, processing and disbursing approved refund payments via direct deposit or check. This is regular days, not business days.

This was the basis for the estimated 2024 IRS refund schedule/calendar shown below, which has been updated to reflect the Jan 29th, 2024 start date of IRS tax return processing this year.

The refund processing schedule is organized by IRS’ WMR/IRS2Go processing status‘. The listed dates are just week ending estimates and your refund could be paid anytime during the week based on your IRS cycle code (see more on that in sections below).

Further, as many tax filers have found out over the last few years, actual refund payment dates could be much longer if your return is pulled for mandated PATH, additional identity fraud/security checks, special handling or manual agency reviews.

The estimated IRS refund payment dates in the chart above should not be construed as official IRS payment dates. To get the exact date of your refund payment check the IRS’ Where is My Refund (WMR) site or your IRS transcript.

How to read the IRS refund processing schedule

The estimated refund payment dates in the table above are based on past years and IRS processing guidelines. It shows the date your refund will be processed and paid based on the week your return is accepted and refund is approved by the IRS.

The federal IRS refund processing schedule is only for electronically filed returns (e-file) done thorough online tax software providers and assumes your tax return was in order. I.e accepted by the IRS via the WMR tool and status is equal to “Return Received”.

Once your tax return is successfully processed by the IRS, it will go to the “Refund Approved” status, after which it goes to refund sent when the payment is disbursed by the IRS.

Paper filed returns can take considerably longer and could take 1 to 2 weeks longer than the direct deposit payment dates.

Average IRS Refund

Based on the latest statistics from the 2023 tax year the IRS processed over 160 million returns with the average refund payment being $3,089. This was 5% lower than the prior year.

Why Your Refund Payment Could be Delayed

There are many reasons your tax return processing could be delayed beyond what is shown in the standard schedule above. This includes submission errors, IRS reconciliation issues or security/fraud related issues.

This is why many filers are see the “Return Processing Has Been Delayed Beyond The Normal Timeframe (Tax Topic 152)” message during tax season.

Note that as in previous years, if you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) your refund may have been delayed beyond the standard processing times due to the PATH act provisions.

This is to allow for fraud and dependent verification on these dependent related tax credits. See sections below for more on the PATH act and refund release timeline.

For those experiencing ongoing issues or delays with their refunds check out this article on “Why is it taking so long to get my refund.”

IRS Test Batches – Early Refunds

A week or two prior to the IRS officially accepting and processing tax returns, they will often run several test batches with various major tax software providers to “test” and “verify” their systems are integrating externally and processing returns correctly.

This will result in WMR status updates for a small subset of tax payers picked in these early test batches, but refunds won’t be paid until after the official IRS processing date.

Note that early refunds paid as a result of test batch processing are not the same as those via refund advance loans.

When Should Taxpayers contact the IRS?

The IRS has said that phone and walk-in representatives can only research the status of your refund if it has been 21 days or more since you filed electronically, or more than 6 weeks since you mailed your paper return or if the IRS WMR tool directs you to contact them.

You can also see earlier updates from prior tax seasons and the thousands of comments below this article around dealing with delayed tax refund processing issues!

Help! My WMR status bar has disappeared

As many folks have commented, the WMR tracker status bar may disappear or not be shown if your return falls under IRS review after it is received (Status Bar 1: Return Received) because additional information is needed for your return.

This can happen even if you previously checked WMR and it showed the status as “Return Received.”  An explanation or instructions will be provided depending on the situation (e.g. PATH message or Tax Topic 152 as discussed below)

But don’t panic when this happens. The IRS still has your return but things are essentially on hold until the IRS gets the additional information from you to continue processing your return . You will either get directions on WMR or IRS2Go or the IRS will contact you by mail. See more in this video.

Follow the provided instructions and return any additional information ASAP to get your potential refund and reduce any further delays. Talk to your accountant, tax advocate or tax professional if you are not clear on what the IRS is asking for or you don’t get an update after 21 days.

PATH Act and Tax Topic 152

Two of the most common refund related messages showing up on the WMR tool after your tax return is submitted are the PATH message and to Refer to Tax Topic 152.

The PATH message on WMR/IRS2Go relates to the the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act of 2015) and is to notify you that the IRS is legally required to hold and further verify tax returns that include EITC or ACTC.

While the IRS can continue to process affected returns, they cannot issue refund payments until the PATH act lifts. This generally happens from mid-February. See more in this article on PATH act processing for the current tax season.

Path ACT Refund
PATH Refund Delays

The PATH message does not mean your tax return is done and your tax refund is approved. It simply means the IRS systems have identified you are claiming the (EITC) or the (ACTC) on your tax return, and so further processing and payments related to your refund are held up for the statutory hold period (3 weeks after the start of tax season).

Once the PATH restriction is lifted, the IRS will process these returns and pay refunds per the above schedule. You may see Tax code 570 with a Notice 971 code (IRS review adjustment) if your refund is adjusted for other reasons.

When you see the Refer to Tax Topic 152 message it means your refund is being processed and the IRS is directing you its generic refund page for more information. There is not much you can do but wait to see if the IRS finds any issues or requires further verification of your identity or items in your tax return.

A Tax Topic 151 message simply means that you’re getting a tax offset which may result in your refund being less than you expected. The reason for this is that the federal government has “offset” or deducted monies from your tax refund to cover debts you owe other federal agencies. See this article to get more details on why your refund was offset.

You will get an official notice letter/report explaining the actual offset and adjustments to your tax return, and details on how to appeal this action – but likely it will delay you getting your refund.

While not great news, the silver lining here is that the IRS has processed your return and your adjusted refund (where applicable) should be on its way. You will see code 846 on your transcript when the refund has been issued.

What is the IRS Cycle Code on my Transcript?

While the above IRS refund schedule can give you an estimated date for you refund once approved (WMR/IRS2Go status) by the IRS, it may take a while to get there.

So some folks use their IRS tax transcript (free from your IRS account) which shows various tax processing codes and a “cycle code.” This is an eight digit number that indicates when your tax return posted to the IRS Master File (IMF).

The cycle code is updated regularly and when combined with the tax topic code, can provide insight into your tax refund status, processing stages and potential direct deposit date. You can see a deeper discussion on IRS cycle codes in this article.

IRS Tax Transcript Cycle Code

If I can see current year processing details on my IRS tax transcript does it mean I am getting my refund soon?

This question comes up a lot and I have seen a few comments on this suggesting that that if you can see current tax season processing details on your (free) transcript then your refund is on the way. But this is not a factual statement.

The IRS is very clear that just being able to see processing details on your IRS transcript does not mean you will imminently be getting a refund and is among the common myths and misconceptions repeated in social media.

For the current tax season you transcript will update several times in line with your cycle code (discussed above) and IRS processing. The official IRS line is that checking the WMR or IRS2Go tool is the best and official way to check your refund status.

However I have read a number of comments here and on other tax sites saying that when WMR/IRS2Go provides limited information on the refund, your IRS transcript can be a good source to get more details. The is especially the case if your refund processing has been stuck for a while.

IRS system issues and refund delays

Every year the IRS has issues with processing returns in a timely manner and so a number of people see delays in getting their refunds or updates in the status of their refund on the WMR tool/app.

The IRS has said most system processing issues have now been resolved and new funding will be used to upgrade systems.

But given the various legacy systems in place and sheer volume of processing to be done, including prior season backlogs of paper and amended returns, I would not be surprised to see system issues arise again this year, which mean more delays in processing and paying refunds. See more around processing delays in this video.

See these articles for average refund amounts in past tax seasons and refund processing times by state

Amended Tax Return Refund Schedule

While the IRS promises to have regular return refunds processed within 21 days for nine out of ten tax payers, it does take quite a bit longer to receive a refund if you amended your tax return.

Generally you will have to wait up to 16 weeks more for the IRS to process amended returns since they prioritize regular returns. Also note that the standard”Where’s my refund” service from the IRS does not track amended tax return status’. You need to instead use the IRS tool, “Where’s My Amended Return.”

You can also access the tool via phone by calling 1-866-464-2050.  Only call the IRS to follow up on delayed amended return refunds after 12 weeks. The number to call is 1-800-829-1040.

  1. This is so inaccurate. Someone needs to find out why it is taking so long with transcripts saying we didn’t even file when we filed in Jan with no update as of 3/13/21

Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.

I received a letter from IRS yesterday. 3/11/21 Stating I needed to send a 8962 and 1095-A form because I did have insurance Through market place and I will get my refund in 6-8 weeks. Crazy thing is it says mail date as 3/11/21 on the irs letter. I faxed all forms needed today 3/12/21. I’m hoping I get my refund soon. Hopes this helps someone.

  3. Hi today is 3/12/21 and my taxes were accepted on 2/10/21. When I first started checking my refund on the IRS tracking website the 3 bars were there and it said my refund has been accepted. Now when I check the bars are no longer there and it says your refund is still being processed. I received my state taxes on Monday 3/8/21. Does this mean me refund is approved or is state separate.
    Thank you

  4. My Situation:
    Filed Tax Return 2/9/21
    Accepted 2/12/21
Status on WMR: Still processing. A refund date will be given once it’s processed.
I called IRS today and they told me that it was sent to error department. She stated that some batches with the EIC and the Child tax credit( I only claimed an EIC) have been sent there. She said I should be receiving a letter by 4/12/21 8 weeks after it was accepted letting me know what was needed. She said it could be sooner than 4/12/21, but that is the worst case scenario. She did say that if I didn’t receive a letter by then to call them again to check on this. If it helps I called (800) 829-0582 Ext: 652 at 7:00 am and was on hold for 50 mins.

    • Did you ever receive a letter from the IRS? I’m in the same exact situation you described and I still haven’t received a letter. WMR always shows same status as you…still processing. But starting last night WMR now says information doesn’t match when I try to enter.

  5. So after 7 tried I finally got hold of the IRS because it has been more than 21 days since I filed. My return is being reviewed. The call center rep says this will happen randomly and anyone claiming a EITC or similar credit will be at a higher chance to be chosen for this however I think I found out the real reason is the second impact stimulus. I changed bank accounts between the first and second payment. When I called the IRS they told me that they would not be mailing out the second stimulus payment check if it wasn’t received via direct deposit error but I could claim it as a credit on my 2020 tax return so I did. In preparation for the third stimulus payment and the fact that my tax return is being reviewed I went to the where’s’ my payment system to see if I could update my direct deposit info that way and it shows that a check was sent for the second payment on 2/2 I filed on 2/12 and claimed the credit. I live in a college dorm and my home address is the one on file so I would not have seen it arrive and it is probably sitting on my bed at home as we speak. I am planning to use the return to pay a balance on my tuition bill so I hope the review is quick and they see I have not touched the check otherwise I may not be able to get my diploma.

    • My niece’s boyfriend has the same issue. His was filed on 2/13 and it was accepted on 2/14. He is still waiting and it’s been 23 days as of today. I have another niece who filed the same day, etc. and she got her’s 3/5. The funniest bit is that I filed mine on 2/24 and I bet mine on 3/11. I would say they have a major glitch somewhere and like always don’t care unless you owe them money.

    • Hi, I filed mine and it was submitted 2/12/21 and stated processing. And it is 3/2/21 and it is still saying processing. Something is not right “Wheres is my refund” is not giving me no approved status and it has been almost 3 weeks currently 19 days and IRS is saying I would have to wait until 3/5/21 to call them back which would be the 21 days. Is there some kind of delay this year with EITC, child tax credit or dependents or is it just me.

      • I am having the same problem. I did mine on Feb, 12, 2021 and it was accepted . Mine is still being processed as well. I call the IRS and they can’t give me any information until after my 21 days. I hope i get it Friday but i am afraid that i will not .

        • Hi I found my taxes on February 12 I will see my state but I have no answer on my federal it does not say it was received or eject it is no answer

        • Hi, I was wondering if you called the IRS and got ahold of a live person and if so how did you get a live person.

        • I’ve been calling since it’s past 21 days and they say due to high call volumes they can’t take the call and click. It’s very frustrating. I was accepted 2/12 and it’s now 3/12 it says code 152 and it’s still being processed. As a single parent out of work bc of covid I really need my return and can’t get ahold of anyone and no answers. H&R Block did my taxes and I did claim my child but claiming a child payments went out the first week of March according to the irs website.

      • No I filed on Feb 13th, I finally talked to a lady today and she said I had an error message but it was a delay and it may take up to 10 weeks to process. She said she has never seen this type of message before that is so vague not identify the error and saying it’s just delayed! She said I am not the only person this is happening to! I broke down and started crying, and I really felt her pain for me. I just don’t know what my family is going to do for another 20 weeks with no money, and then it is still unclear if there is an actual error that I will have to amend. I just don’t see any hope. But I have faith, and I know it will work out! Everyone that is going through the same situation we have to get them to be honest and tell us what the problem is really. Do we need to amend our return, or is it just a delay? If anyone else was told the same thing please respond back and tell me what they told you exactly please. Thank you!

      • Yes delays because Child tax credit called Republican bank today stated they hadn’t started sending those funds out yet I’ve been waiting since feb 12 when it was excepted but its still being processed with a tt152

    • That same thing happened to me. Submitted 2/1, accepted 2/12. I had my 1 of 3 bars for about a week, then one day I got the message that I was entering the wrong info. That lasted for about 2-3 days, then I got the message “tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” It was like that for about a month. It’s only just updated to TT152 today, but I would say don’t worry about that message. A lot of people have been getting it. It will update soon.

  11. I filed my taxes on 2/13/21 and received on the same day. Then I received an email on 2/14/21 that it was accepted. As of today it still shows accepted. The odd part is that when I went the the tax company website and looked at history it showed my return was rejected on the 2/13/21, corrected, and resubmitted on 2/14/21. The thing is that I never was notified of the rejection, and I never corrected my tax return and refiled. All of the information that is on the tax return is correct that was resubmitted. On the rejected tax code it has a completely different refund amount listed and under additional info it has the last 4 numbers of a social security number that is not familiar. So confused. It’s never taken 2 weeks for my status to change from accepted to approve.

  14. My accountant filed my 2019 1040 electronically which was received by IRS 3/27/2020. Status was “Still In Process” through 11/30/2020. Sometime in December status changed back to “Received.” What’s up with that? Made numerous attempts to call anyone at IRS and have been in phone system hell. Now the Status site says info provided does not match their records! Well…that’s because the site has changed for the year 2020 returns. Ahhh!!!!! Anyone have a phone number someone will answer? 10 months and counting.

    • Finally someone who saw the exact messages on the website. It’s a bit comforting to know that I’m not the only one who noticed that their information was there “last year” and after their website maintenance at the beginning of the year, it now says that it does not match their records. I will be sure to provide any information if I ever receive any.

        • Hi Mary, it’s 2/2/21 and I finally received acknowledgement on the IRS website. They processed my e-filed return that was accepted on 4/30/20 and are supposedly mailing out the refund on 2/5/21. Not sure why they’re mailing it since I’ve always had direct deposit. I won’t complain though. Just relieved that they finally processed it!

  15. If the irs stated my refund will be sent by the 23rd of December will it still be sent if their system is “under maintenance” until January?

  17. I filed y tax return on February 28th, 2020. Several letters later from the IRS stating they need to review the information provided, I re-submitted a 1040x with my accountant in June 2020. Called and spoke to an IRS representative and was informed they received my 1040x but processing and refunding will not happen until December 2020. As of today, 12/9/2020, I’m still waiting for the processing and refund. Checking their website states your refund is still being processed. Beyond frustrated as like many others, this refund will help with the many bills that piling up.

  18. I defiled my return for direct deposit in March 3, 2020. I called IRS through July and was told to call a tax advocate. I did, but they wouldn’t return any of my phone calls for months. I tried calling the IRS again and was told they can’t talk to me since I have a tax advocate even though the advocate won’t contact me. I called my state senator which said he made contact with the IRS on my behalf about 3 weeks ago. No further word has been received from his office. I call and ask for an update, and they tell me that they will give IRS one more week to respond. Single income with 2 kids. Guessing no Christmas presents for our kids this year. 3 cars need inspections and repairs. Husband needs at least 1 working car for work. Eye infection from very old contacts since I can’t afford to buy new ones or see my eye doctor. Dog has seizures and is in need of shots. Can’t do that either without money.

To day October 26 2020 system said ” you tax refund is still been processing a refund date will be provided when available” no tax topic showing. Either stimulus check. So yes struggling, with kids and no money and haven’t been able to get in touch with irs.

    • Wow – that’s a long time. Have you contacted the IRS? It could be held up due to a Fraud issue and you need to call them to validate identity, especially given a relatively large amount.

  23. I e-filed my 2019 taxes mid January 2020, it was accepted a few days later. Receive a letter late February that my 2019 was being placed on hold due to me not filing 2016-2018 (my mistake I get that) I completed and mailed paper returns for the missing years the day after I received the letter. I sent them priority mail so they should have received them prior to COVID-19 shut down. It is August 17th 2020 and just got off the phone with the IRS and they say that haven’t received the missing years but about 2 months ago I opened a case with the tax advocacy and they said IRS had received my 2016. Bottom line is I’m waiting on over $9k to be issued to me and they have no concern to find out more. Let me OWE them that much and I bet they wouldn’t stop until they got theirs!

  24. I received a notification that my 2019 taxes had been accepted on Feb 5th(although I sent them in January 27th,2020), so Feb 5th -Accepted by IRS. I received a letter 44-something C, advising that my return was under further review for verification of identity. I called the number on the letter and verified my identity through the link/ website that the letter provided. The rep I spoke with on the phone, after I completed the verification online said it could take 60 days to complete the verification and receive the refund. Why the heck is it currently August 15, 2020 and I have received NOTHING!!! I have called the tax advocate office in Jacksonville, FL about 6 times, left message to return my call, as their phone recording advises they will do- but of course they NEVER returned my call. I even called the Orlando office twice with no reply still! Can’t get a human being on the phone at either office!! This is sickening! What the hell is everybody using COVID-19 as an excuse not to do their freaking job?? I had a rep of another organization tell me on the phone yesterday that they are not currently accepting payments “over the phone with a live rep, due to COVID-19- I had to make payment via the automated phone system which of course comes with a service fee. This is beyond absurd and it’s a disgrace and disservice to American tax payers like myself! I got the measly stimulus check back in April, but honestly I don’t give a damn about that!! I NEED my federal tax return for 2019!! I have property land taxes that are overdue, and this puts my property at risk! I have been beyond patient, but I’m about to lose it in a minute!!! Help!!

  25. After using one of the electronic options for both Fed and State and being told I would have to pay for state I sent the printed fed tax return in by snail mail on April 15. I sent it from the Post Office but I decided not to ask for delivery confirmation. In July I talked to a very polite trying-to-be helpful IRS representative that told be that she could not confirm they had received it but I should call back in August. I can wait for any refund but I did express some concern that if they had not received our return by July 15th we would be open to penalties. She said not to worry. I am still worrying and now the irs.gov site says not to call. I get that they have been closed because of Covid19, and short-staffed because of a bad administration . I guess all I can do is wait and worry some more.

  26. I filed my 2018 returns by mail and e-filed 2019 returns on March 27th, 2020. I owed some state taxes yet from 2017 which got paid by my e-filed 2019 state return, so I got a deposit for the remainder on April 5th. The next day I got my full federal refund for 2019. Then 3 days later, I got my stimulus. April 19th got my full 2018 state return by mail. Now I sit here, with not one update on my federal 2018 return, no letters of any kind, I even sent in paperwork again in case it got rejected, on JUNE 30th. Still nothing. Transcript looks exactly the same says nothing was filed in 2018 at all for a return with that * by it…

    • Same here! I filed my 2018 by mail March 3rd, filed my 2019 efile April 9th. Got my 2019 back within 10 days, not a word about my 2018. though. Transcripts for that year have no update. I called last week and was told it’s not showing in the system, but to give them 6 weeks from August 1st. If nothing by then to call back. I’ve been waiting over 5 months already and now have to wait longer…this is getting ridiculous!

      • Aug 23 and IRS site still says processing, has said this for the last 6 months now! I have talked to several other people and every single one who was supposed to get a refund said the same thing, they filed in February online and still says processing. Yet all the articles I read like this one above acts like your refund is only being delayed a few weeks, not six months. How have none of the tax advisors or financial newsletters heard of this when it is happening to so many people????????

        • bro I filled in feb I waited to june 30 called them they then said im on a 60 day review from june 30 so that would be aug 30 .. I called aug 30 they said we sent you something in the mail and it started that day for 60 days now its sept 23 the 60 day of that time and now I still havnt got it yet

  28. I filed paper return on March 30th, now it’s July 15th. I haven’t received my refund yet. The WMR tool doesn’t even give me a status which would mean they haven’t even opened my return? I can’t even get a confirmation that they received my return.

  29. I spoke to someone they turn around and they said it was because they were closed and that I had a topic 152 but it wasn’t on me I had to wait until they went back and open and look at everything and then since they July 15th got an extension other people got extensions so I don’t know if my employer got an extension if they did I think this is what’s holding my taxes though and I’m just getting really tired of them because every year I get out of it or I don’t get my income tax until October that’s pretty upsetting sometimes I don’t feel like fighting anymore cuz it’s like every year every year something’s wrong with my taxes and it’s not in my behalf..and they said that I couldn’t call back because the fact is it’s going to do another 45 days from the date that I call back they’re just full of crap and then all my stimulus check I finally got it like on the 19th of June and I couldn’t cash it until June 20th but prior to that they had gave me a date of June 10th and I never received it so I noticed that they they changed my day I just don’t understand why we are getting so much fun is for everything that is going on and I understand that it’s a lot of stress on them but come on..and I told the guy that I needed my refund ASAP cuz I had a heart attack and I now my hours are completely cut and it’s it’s just sad how the system is is running and it does it’s not fair to us people that work and pay taxes

You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS.” means? Below that it refers to tax topic 152. It was accepted over 48 hours ago. How long should it take to at least say processing or something?

    • Having the same issue. Called and spoke to a representative who said that my return was under review. Since the covid happened, they just started staffing the offices last week. I found that I can only get an IRS staff member live on Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am – 6:00pm (Eastern). Whenever it continues to say “still being processed”, the IRS is verifying information that doesn’t look right. It goes through a number of different IRS accountants to do a fine tooth combing through your return. It’s usually become numbers don’t match up somehow. If you file an “amended” return, it could take up to 4 months for you to get your return after the date they receive it.y best suggestion is to keep calling every Wednesday and Friday. When it takes you through the automated system, press 1 for English. Then it will take you through more selections. Press 1, then press 2. It will give you a bunch of choices. Don’t select any of them. Just stay on the line and they will eventually transfer you to a live person. It may take from 30 min to and hour. But it’s worth it to find out what’s going on. Just make sure you call on those two days during those hours. Anything outside of that you won’t get a live rep.

    • The latest is that the IRS made a massive screw up and thousands of refunds were incorrectly labeled as “balance due”. They blame the computer, it’s never the programmer. A purge file is to be run the week of 6/29/20 to correct their mistake, then 2 to 3 weeks for the money to show up.

      • My son, one of my nephews, my next door neighbor, several people I work with, and several women in my running group all filed in February online, supposed to get refunds direct deposit, and all of them say still processing, today is Aug 23 six months later. If purge was run in June, why have none of them heard anything yet? Seems this has happened to lots and lots of folks but nobody has any answers.

  33. Filed mine on Feb. 7th 2020, now it’s May 24th and the “Where’s My Refund?” tool still says, “Your tax return is still being processed.” No changes in job or family size. They based our stimulus check off of the 2019 return because my oldest son turned 17 (in 2019) and we didn’t get $500 for him, if they used 2018 I think we should have received the $500 for him instead. The waiting is terrible, and interest for other stuff doesn’t stop because the IRS is behind schedule. That’s our money and I want it!

When I try to call the IRS I get a message that there are no staff to take calls due to COVID19. I had a CP friend try to look into it and he couldn’t get through either. What can I do? It is now May 4, 2020 and the “Where’s My Refund?” tool still says, “Your tax return is still being processed.” It does not give the TT 152 message or a PATH message. I received my stimulus check based on my 2018 return. The only thing that has changed on my return is that I went from Head of Household to Married Filing Jointly. There is no one staffed to answer any of the phone lines and no one to email. Does this mean I don’t get any of my money now or it seems I’ll be waiting forever? It’s been well over the 21 days and friends of mine who filed 2-3 weeks ago have received their returns!

If they had been already looking into my taxes, why did my stimulus check go to the wrong bank? I NEED MY MONEY NOW! if I was to owe the IRS, this would be whole new outlook huh?
