[2022 Update] The $300 supplementary payment made in 2020 and 2021, ended in all states on September 6th, 2021 (some states ended it earlier).
Unless claims are in the adjudication process, At this stage all retroactive payments (including those for PUA and PEUC) have also been processed and no new payments are being made.
An extension of unemployment benefits, including the $300 payment, is not likely for 2022 and beyond unless economic conditions deteriorate significantly. I will post updates as they come to light.

____________
The latest (ARPA) stimulus package was passed by Congress and signed into law by the President Biden on March 11th, 2021. It includes further extensions to pandemic unemployment programs (PUA and PEUC) and an extra $300 weekly FPUC supplementary UI payment. The latest supplementary $300 payment will be paid over 25 weeks starting from week of March 15th, 2021 to September 6th, 2021. This is in addition to the previous extension covering 11 weeks from December 27th, 2020 to March 14th, 2021. Eligible payments will be made retroactively in cases where state unemployment agencies face delays with rolling out system updates to process these payments.
The $300 weekly unemployment payment will be made above and beyond any regular state or enhanced federal unemployment payment and require eligible claimants to certify regularly according to their state UI agency guidelines. Claimants will need to be eligible for at least $1 of an underlying unemployment benefit to receive the $300 supplemental payment under the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program.
You do not need to take any additional action to receive this supplemental payment. States are slowly rolling out these payments for different groups of claimants starting with those already getting regular UI and state extended benefits (active claimants). Those who have exhausted benefits prior to the extensions being rolled out or new claimants will only be able to get payments once their underlying claim is approved.
I will update dates in the table below as states implement these guidelines and start making making actual payments. Please leave a comment if you find updated or incorrect information reflected in the table and I will review/update accordingly. Details on why this payment could be delayed due to PEUC or PUA roll-outs are discussed in this video.
State unemployment departments and agencies will be responsible for disbursing these benefit payments, similar to the $300 LWA and earlier $600 FPUC supplementary unemployment programs. Given the many challenges and various payment issues across states with earlier supplementary UI benefit programs, I expect this to take some time to be rolled out and require retroactive payments to get claimants caught up. So stay tuned and subscribe to get the latest updates. You can also see this $300 FPUC video for more details on this program.
Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) program – Now Expired
The temporary $300 unemployment benefit under the Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) program funding has now been paid in all states who participated in the program. The program expiry date was December 27th, 2020 and this means that any new or retroactive payments under this program will NO longer be paid out going forward. This has been replaced by the new $300 FPUC payment discussed above.
This supplementary payment was a temporary, but much needed benefit for unemployed or underemployed workers who lost the supplementary $600 FPUC weekly payment at the end of July. There was a lot of confusion on when the $300 would actually be paid by state UI agencies which led to the creation of the LWA state tracker table below, which shows the payment status and actual or estimated future date claimants can expect their first weekly unemployment payment, if eligible. You can also see the 1000+ comments from readers that share their experiences around the LWA payment, including some very useful tips if you are facing issues getting your $300 LWA payment.
All states that applied and were approved by FEMA were only initially awarded three weeks of funding – covering the weeks of August 1st, 8th and August 15th. After that, states and territories will need to submit a Lost Wages Additional Week Request one week at a time for funding to pay claims for subsequent weeks. However any additional funding is subject to the $44 billion budget that is available for this program and it is almost certain that funding will run out before the December 27th expiry of this program, unless Congress approves additional funding via a formal UI benefits extension.
In fact, at this stage approved states will only get a maximum of 6 weeks of funding (weeks covering August 1st to September 5th) for the LWA program per recent FEMA guidance to state labor and unemployment agencies that have already made several weeks of payments. Several states which started making the $300 payments earlier than other states have already been notified that their LWA funding allotment has run out and no additional funding beyond will be approved. Note however that some states like Florida will only be applying for and paying 4 weeks of LWA benefits, since they didn’t meet some of the LWA program qualification rules (details here).

Payment Start date is when the state actually started processing LWA payments OR is the estimated date of the first payment processing based on available information. Note: Due to bank processing delays, it can take 2 to 4 days after the noted dates for benefits to hit your bank account or debit card. Please see links to more information in the table or your state UI website for specific payment status. If you find any mistakes or have updates, please leave a comment below and I will update table to help others.
What if my state has started making payments, but I don’t see my $300?
Claimants in most states do not need to take any action to receive the new benefits available in this program. The additional benefits will be added automatically for all claimants who are eligible and have certified for the relevant week. Their self-certification will ask them to confirm they were unemployed or partially unemployed due to COVID-19. See more FAQs on this here.
However if your state has started making payments and you haven’t received payments you need to first confirm you are eligible. This means you must be receiving at least $100 in weekly unemployment benefit payments (pre tax and before any other deductions). This includes claimants receiving any type of regular unemployment insurance benefits as well as those receiving PUA and PEUC benefits.
If you are eligible and you have not received a payment in several weeks then you will need to contact your state UI agency to ensure the claim has been processed and is not being held up due to fraud, missing/incorrect payment details or due to a weekly or bi-weekly certification issue.
See more in this article on Why Your $300 Unemployment Has Not Been Paid or Delayed.
My state has been approved and the LWA tracker says payments are being made, but when will I get my payment?
The tracker provides an actual or estimated date for the when the LWA payments start being processed by the state. If a start date has been officially published by the state, you will see the status updated to “paying now.” Otherwise it is estimate based on FEMA guidelines or if confirmed by several sources online. However this date (week start date in many cases) may not be the same as the date the actual UI payment will hit your back account or debit card. The actual date you may see the money could be several days after the official state processing start date and tied to your normal UI payment cycle. You will need to confirm via your UI online portal or state agency for the exact payment date.
Also note the payment date is generally the date when payment starts. In many states, due to volume of people being paid, claims are paid out over several days (in batches, based on SSN or First/Last Name). And given processing by banks to disburse these payments via direct deposit or debit cards can take 1 to 2 days, it may take several days after the first payment date for you to receive your payment.
I got my $900 back payment but no payments after that. Why?
The first state LWA grant approved by FEMA was only for three weeks. Hence the $900 payment (3 x $300) is what most people are seeing first, less any taxes or withholding. Subsequent $300 payments are approved and paid on a week by week basis. This includes retroactive payments which will also be staggered. Rest assured if you are eligible for past weeks you will get your payment.
Also the maximum number of weeks that can be paid under the LWA program is 6, which means the maximum payment in most states is $1800 (or $2400 if the state was paying $400 p/week). After the payment of 6 weeks, you will revert to what you were getting under existing unemployment programs.
I am got my first week of payments but not subsequent weeks.
Kristin asked, “My son just got his first payment for the weeks of 08/23 thru 08/29 and 08/30 thru 09/05. He got the extra $300 for the week of 08/23 – 08/29, but did not get the extra $300 for the week of 08/30 thru 09/05. We are in Texas. Do you know why he got it the first week, but not the second week?
Every week is processed separately by the state UI agency subject to FEMA funding. So you may be seeing some variability due to delays in approval, claim processing and eventual bank/debit card payment.
what do they mean when yhey say funds come in two or three separate payments do they mean on the same day
My retroactive payments in Missouri came on 9/9 300, 9/10 600, 9/11 300 & today 300.
No you will receive your payments on different days hun.
I got payments on 9/9, 9/10, 9/11 & 9/15
I live in Michigan certified yesterday, just getting my regular benefit, haven’t gotten a update yet, hopefully sometime this week
Same here. No payment yet.
It is really disappointing that Ohio was the first state to step up and agree to the lwa program, yet, we have still received nothing. They haven’t even bothered to put out any type of official update. No information to the thousands of people who are deciding if they can afford to eat this week. People are going to start panicking. I am one of those people. Our government is broken. It shouldn’t be about politics right now. People are suffering. Not just Republicans, not just Democrats. PEOPLE!! Why can’t we agree on helping the people? And would it kill you guys to update the unemployment website for the thousands of PEOPLE that are waiting, desperate for any information to be found? Or here’s a thought, Governor Dewine,
I challenge you to live on my single mother unemployment payment of $239 a week (pre-tax) and pay rent, utilities, and buy food for yourself and two teenagers.
I bet by the end of the week you would make things move a lot faster. I also bet that you would run to tell Congress to reinstate the $600 unemployment supplement because it is impossible to live. People are suffering while you sit in luxury.

Jaime, Thank you for your remarks. Right on. This is what we really need to say to politicians of all types who live in their own world. We need to contact our reps and senators and let them know what is happening and how we feel. They only know to take recess and go to their homes at our expense. What exactly are we paying them to do?
Hi Andy. I talked to a customer service agent in Ohio today. They’re paying the 6 weeks over the course of 6 days ( might be a little longer because of the weekend. ) This starts with the 1st week which ended 8/1 being paid tomorrow. I checked mine and I do indeed have a $300 deposit set for tomorrow. Good luck to my fellow Ohioans! Hint: scroll down to your 8/1 payday. It will show there not at the top of the columns.
Jason, did you speak with someone from Ohio job and family services or pua? I am on regular unemployment and receive over the $100 marker. I don’t see anything about the $300 scheduled to deposit on my paystub history for the week of 8/1.
Hey! Hope I am being of some help to at. Least someone. I spoke with an agent who was very knowledgeable. I’m on PUA. Earlier today I saw 8/1 set for direct deposit. I checked back later and 8/8 is set for deposit the following day 9/17. Go to payment history and scroll down to 8/1. It should have $300 posted and set for direct deposit. Hope this helps!
I heard reg employment was after expanded was done
I’m from Ohio I have no information on the BWC website about the LWA. After seeing all the Ohio post about receiving money I call Ohio JFS waited for over an hour on hold only to be told by there agent that she was unaware of any LWA payments going out that we have more information on the LWA reading information on websites like this one we are on than she has , so she was no help at all. So I still no no more now than I did on Monday when everyone started posting from Ohio that they were getting LWA back pay. I draw the max $480 per week and certify every Sunday I received my regular weekly payment but to date I have no information on how to receive or certify for the LWA.
Were you on regular unemployment or on the expanded pandemic unemployment assistance program? I see the $300 scheduled for me tomorrow and I was on the expanded PUA program, but my husband is on regular unemployment and I don’t see the $300 going to him tomorrow
I just looked at mine, as I am on regular unemployment in ohio and mine isn’t showing anything either. My husband also gets regular unemployment and his isn’t showing anything either.
Hello! I’m on PUA.
Was his claim originally due to COVID? Only people whom claims were originally due to COVID will receive the LWA. If not, look on the website for the qualifying reasons for PUA. If he can use any of those reasons update his claim status. If there was a deadline, file an appeal (fax it) and submit an email on there website (use the claims form..click other and type a message explaining circumstances).
Anyone have any more answers? It’s now Wednesday afternoon and I have not seen anything on my unemployment claim or received a dime of the backpay yet?
Hi Tracy, I’m hoping you have received the 1st 3 LWA payments by now. I am from Ky also and I received 3 payments. We were approved for 6 and says payment are being paid now as of September 15th but I still havent received the last 3 payments of LWA ..
I haven’t received the first payment yet!
Has anyone. Know when Oklahoma going to start the Lwa pay
9/20
I was wondering if you get Pua will it automatically Be posted to your account since there is no certification for the LWA form On the Pua website also I’m living in PA..
Yes you should get it and it should be back dated from the time you first filed. The money wont automatically be posted to your account it will come on the say you receive your money.
Im in delaware it says they start paying sept 15th so i woke up today with nothing dies it mean im not getting it or will it deposit in the next few days or will i see ghe money on the following claim week? Has anyone in delaware receivex the extra 300 and the retro?
In Missouri we had 24-48hr delay from when it was to start
Im in Delaware also and still nothing yet
Per the official, site Delaware should be issuing payments this week. But not seeing a lot of traction. So expect delays.
Do you really have to have a dependent on your form to receive the 300$?
I’m in Ohio, on regular unemployment. My friend who is on pua her website says the 300 will be deposited soon. On the regular unemployment website for me it doesn’t show anything about a 300$ payment. Does that mean I’m not getting it? My regular unemployment benefits is 250$ a week. So I meet the requirements. I’m confused and can’t get through to anyone at the unemployment office
They are processing and paying in batches so some people are getting paid first. Will likely take most of this week to clear the backlog. Hang in there.
Are the batches just the “weekly” $300 or the retroactive lump sum? My weekly self certification never asks about Covid however when I initially applied I did give them the specific Covid layoff number which I no longer even remember the details about- sad. I have one weekly benefit amount remaining, what happens after next week is dispersed? I’m scared to death to call in case something gets screwed up!
Hey Kate! See Jason’s comment above. (That’s me) It looks like we’re finally getting there!
Hey Hannah! See my comment above. ( Jason )
I get $ 189 a week but child support leaves me with $96 a week so will I still get the $300?
Yes…its based on the pre-tax, pre-deduction WBA amount. So you should the $300. Check with your state agency UI portal for confirmation of payment.
Anybody in Pennsylvania receive they 300$ payment yet?
Andy,
Can you answer this question for me please?
I have been waiting for my LWA since the 7th when California started paying out and I haven’t received any money yet. However! EDD sent me a Self Certification Form in my Inbox this morning for me to fill out. For me to fill out if my unemployment was due to the pandemic. I filled it out so does this mean that I will get the $300 now? If so, do you know when.
This question is for anyone that can possibly answer it for me.
I had to update my status claim in order to get LWA. My original claim wasn’t due to COVID. They sent me a correspondence and said if I was now still unemployable due COVID I needed to update my claim by 9/8. I was able to update my claim online under claims (Update Claim) beneath weekly requests. it was as simple as checking the box certifying I am now affected by the pandemic. I updated on 9/7 and received 300 on 9/9, 600 on 9/10, 300 on 9/11 and 300 today. Hope this helps.
Yes Niecey this helps me to understand a lot better. I just checked my inbox and I had a message stating that EDD has received my Self Certification Form yesterday. Do you live in California? I just wanted a little insight on approx.: how long I still have to wait. I don’t mean to be a bother but times are really hard right now.
Have a bless day,
Andy, Good morning and to all readers as well and hoping that all will get through this with your sanity intact. I have good news however for fellow Kentuckians!!! Started receiving payment this morning at 225 am. Hope this is at the very least a “small silver lining in the clouds” for those whove not yet gotten payments. Although ive only gotten payment for one week its a start in the right direction and couldnt have came at a better time, NOW!!! KEEP YOUR HEADS UP!!!!! I hope to read other Kentuckians have begun to see deposits along with more states beginning the payment process. Andy the information youve provided has been helpful even though dates have changed and changed again but to no fault of your doings. Hope this has been helpful and if youve not checked for a deposit into your acct. You may want to just in case. Thanks again and have a blessed day!
Thanks, status updated for KY as several readers reporting payments this AM.
Andy, I have asked twice about any updates on Colorado. They have change the date twice I am wondering if anybody has any information about any release dates of the $300 PUA payments.
See more on the CO UI page I have for this. Week of Sep 20th is still estimated payment date. May come sooner – but you can now certify for LWA.
Colorado’s first batch went out thursday 17th and second batch went out Friday 18th for more people. I got lump sum of $900 wich was $771 after taxes ob friday. Then says other 900$ to complete 1800$ will go out 25th hope thiss helpss goood luck.
Yes I have recieved 1 payment also. Do we get the other payments I thought it was retro for 3.
Did they cut taxes from your 400 and was this your week to get you regular unemployment
I received 5 weeks of LWA, will I b receiving the sixth week and if so when will I b receiving it?
Which state? The last payment may take some time as FEMA only released funding for the week of Sep 5, last week. So hang in there. You will get it if eligible for that week.
I also live in KY. I received $400 around 11:30 pm Monday night.. Just waiting to get the other 5 payments..
Great. Thanks for sharing.
We are only getting payments. Look at unemploymentpua.org. I still havent received no extra no even my pay.
Hi everyone I think this is so ridiculous how the government is issuing out this pandemic funds families are struggling losing their homes if u don’t meet the guidelines can’t feed their family and they got people checking the website and bank accounts like mice looking for cheese when all they have to do is hit the damn button smh then they want to dish it out in increments when the $600 was stopped now they slashed it in half $300 Lying to people saying this day and that day Why are they making it seem so difficult to pay hurting families reading some of this comments is so sad I really pray for our country as a whole
It’s all political posturing. Trying to make it look like the other sides ideas of helping the citizens isn’t sufficient. Which it is not. I truly feel like the fed govt has told reporters not to question the efficiency or validity. If you watch any press conference with any gov. There’s no voluntary mention. Reporters question are obscure and hardly answered. Never more info offered by leadership. It’s clear we are their subjects.
Just looked at payment history and there’s a 300$ payment with pay date of 9/16/20 for week of 7/26/20-8/1/20 we will see if it comes threw I thought it was going to be a lump sum Ohio is so screwed up
Received first week of 400 today with regular biweekly payments in Kentucky
In the state of Arizona, will there be a back pay of pua? Cause I didn’t receive pua payment for the week of September 13th,2020
I didn’t recieve my pua benefit this week either, have you received it as of Friday? Just wondering why I didn’t get mine. Any info of others that didn’t get their reg unemployment ? Is it one or the other??
In Ky and just got 1 week of lwa. I’m confused.
Subequent weeks will come in batches (in line with FEMA approval of funds). Hang in there – but the goos news is KY is paying now.
KY only getting 3. Andy said that last friday.
Kentucky 1st payment $400 hit at 5am.

Where are you going at to look? Like in your pay stubs history the one for 8/1 was updated to reflect a different amount that now includes the $300?
Thanks for the Ohio updates. Glad to see processing started today. Payments may take a couple of days to hit your bank accounts/debit cards. I will update table.
I’m in North Carolina and they just posted a $300 deposit on my homepage!!! I’m praying you all get yours as well!
Hey, Ohioan here I wanted to ask, Has LWA certification been sent to any Ohioans yet? I was receiving the $600 then needed an extension of benefits and I get over $100 week. Just wondering if i messed up, or it hasn’t sent yet or didn’t qualify. Also Nothing stated on portal payments. Thanks a lot all of you be strong, god bless

Hello, im also in CA. One of my friends certified last week, got his first payment of $300 the following day of his payment around 8pm. I certified Sunday the 13th…. received my regular payment at 6am Monday morning …. here it is tuesday (I just answered my Lwa question today) so let’s see what happens. I have been checking to see if it says that the $300 is scheduled for payment, but I haven’t seen anything.
Once you answer the question it takes about a day but maybe two. Also..its not business days it’s just days.
I live in Ohio. My unemployment ended last week. Will I still get the $300? Thanks
Starting to be paid from 9/16 in waves/batches for eligible weeks. Likely one week being paid at a time.
I live in ohio and I just checked my account on ohio extended benefits for unemployment page and I am getting one week of the $300 on the 16th it says. So I guess they may be doing it one week at a time and going through everyone approved then going on to the next week. I will know more in the next couple days and will update everyone on what I found out on this page
Thanks for the update Tristan. Updated table for Ohio to assume payment starts tomorrow.
Does anyone know when S.C. will start seeing some action?
Update for Ohio!!! I do my weekly certification on Sundays and get paid on Tuesdays through direct deposit. As of Monday morning 9-14-20 it was just my regular weekly benefit of $171 after taxes. The UI system automatically shuts down for updates and maintenance nightly from 8pm to 10pm. I got on around 11pm on
9-14 just to check and I have one $300 payment showing for 8-01-20 being paid on
9-16. I have the slightest idea when the other 5 weeks will be paid but it appears they are starting to roll out those payments to everyone eligible. Stay safe everyone protect and love yourself and each other!!!
I don’t see it, where did you check at
I recieved the same message I got my 480$ plus on 9-16 it says I will get an additional payment of 300$. I was hoping for one lump sum but o well its better than nothing they are coming soon to everyone in OHIO….
Thanks for the update. My daughter just looked and her’s says the same so we are assuming she will get the regular weekly on Wednesday also instead of Tuesday since hers is normally in by 2am Tuesday’s and it was not as of 3am.
Update: The regular did deposit… apologies

Any update on WV?
Will the back pay be on your debit card or in check form? I’m in Pennsylvania.
Debit card and hopefully the payments will be this week.
I’m pretty sure PA us sticking to the Relia card, it’s the most efficient way to get these payments out anyway
My name is Anthony I Am in PA. I have claimed and received UC all of those weeks but I am only partially unemployed, my weekly “benefit rate” is over $200 but during those 6 weeks my earnings caused me to only receive over $100 in UC for only week 2,4, and 5 the other weeks I received under $100. I certified for the LWA Am I eligible for the 3 or all 6? When will I get the payment?
Any more concrete dates for SC? I check the website daily and there is no indication of change and no mention of the LWA anywhere other than when I do a search and they say it was approved and they are working with a vendor, it never had a line for the $600 payment either, but at least if you put it in the search que it shows up, the LWA does not which makes me believe they are not ready and September 20 may just be an estimate, you cannot reach them by phone
I Agree, I check daily too and get no updates.
I live in Memphis TN an it’s a lot of people who have received their $900 an getting their$300 weekly an I still haven’t got mines . I got a 5 day old baby an lights bout to get cut off because of this.Where do I track my payment at or just to see if I qualify?
Are there any updates for the 900 retroactive unemployment benefit for massachusetts
MA has started paying the LWA, including retroactive payments. See more on the MA UI resource page on this this site.
Just crazy how Ohio was the first to say we were going to do the payments then they drag their feet to pay it out they have already got 700 million to pay us so what’s taking so long , just annoys me and every other state would at least update their people telling them what’s going on Ohio no not us still same crap , like they don’t realize what it’s like to live on 189 a week if they did it would be fixed I’m sure !!! I just don’t understand the hold up or the not telling us anything just leaving us wondering , I speak for a lot of people when I say I would much rather be working then depending on my pos government to help cause this is trash !!!
Hi Crystal I also live in Ohio and you definitely speak for me. you cannot find and recent news articles or any info letting us know what’s going on with the LWA. There were states that were approved after Ohio and has already exhausted there 6 wks worth of payments, it really makes you sick when you read these stories. Good luck and hanging there we will get it sometime soon I hope.
Hi guys I’m from Ohio as well and what you said could have come out of my mouth Ohio is disgraceful and their lack of communication to let us know where things are I can’t find anything from the bigwigs at odjfs at first it said 9/13 then it said 9/21 it’s like they don’t realize they are playing with peoples lives here it’s the worst state in the union!
Yes it is and they keep pushing the date. It went from the 13 to the 21. Why is that ?
Im from ohio I just looked on my payment history back to Aug 1st and it says 300 paid 9/15
Mine also says the same for 08-01. $300 paid 9-16
I understand your frustration Pa. here Our officials aren’t doing much to ease the anxiety of the people. It really is a big issue for alot of people in different states. All I get when I search is the same article from the press releases last week stating that yes they have the funding and it goes on to say people will start seeing their payments as early as Monday the 14th ,however on our L&I page its had a completely different statement,.that people will receive their payment a week after they file their weekly or biweekly claims ? And when you find a article that mentions the LAW payment it directs you to our Government website/ UC link which only has the initial information and eligibility requirements no updates on payments Oh they did however update the page a few days ago to let us know that after the 5th of Sept there would be no more payments .they made sure they made that update but can’t update any other information, the little information I have comes from outside sources which is unacceptable. I understand we are in trying times and they are overwhelmed, hire more people if need be there are plenty of people who need a job right now.I look at it this way, the government is responsible for most of us being home due to their mandates and forced closures ,they owe it to the people to keep us informed on s timely basis as to when we can expect to be paid estimated times does not provide groceries or let me know when I can get some groceries.
Ohio never gives any updates it’s ridiculous we need that money and they are taking their time if they had to live on 189 a week I bet this would be already done
Received wv regular benefits wheres the extra ir when it says sept 13th
In WV-I just got my regular benefit but no extra $400. I think the way I’m thinking that it applies to this week. Meaning when you do your weekly claim for this week on Sunday it may be on next one…? The information isn’t quite clear on that.

Andy,
I am from Utah and they’ve began making payments for the LWA to individuals who qaulify. I have yet to get mine do to the computer systems not catching that I was unemployed as a direct result due to Covid. Thankfully after speaking with a claim rep that has been fixed do I should recieve the $900 back pay for 8/1, 8/9, 8/15 within 2 days. My question is if you might know if Utah going to receive any additional weeks. I have seen so many different answers on internet from different news cycles and my rep said to her knowledge was only receiving 3 weeks of payments. Just curious as to why some states like Texas have received or receiving all 6 weeks and other states only supposedly receiving the first origanal 3 weeks. I seen a chart that stated Utah paid 3 weeks, Unpaid 3 weeks yet a red “N” next to that which meant funding depleted. Don’t remember which site I seen that on though. Any and all info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
So states have to apply for every week after the initial 3 week grant. FEMA has confirmed they have allocated 3 extra weeks (for a total) to every state at this stage. The additional 3 weeks may take some time to process, but you should get them paid before month end. See this article (official source from UT gov agency) – https://jobs.utah.gov/covid19/lostwagefaq.pdf
Hi Shaun! Jason here from Ohio. You live in a beautiful state btw. I read directly on the FEMA website that all states including Utah were getting 6 weeks back pay. Have a great day!
Has anyone got any updates for Ohio?
For the past few weeks…LWA Tracker indicated payments beginning 9/13.
It now says 9/21?
In desperate need!
Phi – Sadly a vacuum of information from OH. Since no one from OH has confirmed payment recieved I moved it out and honestly I am hearing end of September in some chat rooms. Hopefully once the LWA certification step pops in your UI portal that will mean payment is imminent.
Check your unemployment account. Mine just updated and states there is a payment of $300 for Aug.1st with a pay date of 9/16
Hi Phi! I’m in OH too. Isn’t Ohio a disgrace? They have the 700 million for us but what the hell are they doing? The official day now is 9/21. I hope they actually start earlier. Wishful thinking I know. At least we’re getting 6 weeks back pay not 3! Per the FEMA website all states are now getting 6 weeks not 3. Have a great day!
Does anyone have information on Delawares LWA ? Anything will help , thank you !
The Delaware DOL has confirmed payments started from this week, so expect them to start hitting back accounts from Sep 15th onwards for eligible claimants.
Are LWA amounts included in your portal payment amount/remaining balance??
This did not happen. We are still waiting.
Any new news on delawares lwa? Still have not received anything only my normal unemployment
DE still no back pay
Have you received anything from deleware yet because I haven’t
This is still the official line – The Delaware Department of Labor expects to begin issuing LWA payments to eligible claimants beginning the week of September 14, 2020, on a first-come, first-served basis. The LWA payments will be retroactive to the week ending on August 1, 2020.Benefits will be automatically calculated and distributed based on unemployment claims received; individuals do not need to call or apply separately for this..
You may get paid next week if nothing comes by the end of this week. But should be sooner rather than later.
So I received my first payment of $300 on Friday 09/18 at around 5:40pm and now on Monday 09/21 I haven’t received another payment yet and it’s 8:11pm anyone have any idea what’s going on now I’m in delaware
I have only received a 1 week LWA payment & that was Friday 9/18, also.

My boy got his second payment today for 600

I’m from Arkansas and received lwa payment of 300 today, I thought it was retroactive from the August 1st? I see some people say it will be staggered payments? Does anybody know when the reminder will come? And did it go from 3 weeks to 6 weeks of guaranteed retroactive payments?
See AK row and link in table within article for staggered payment scheudle
I’m in GA and didn’t receive any deposits today. Usual UI deposits on Wed but thought I’d have some of the back pay everyone’s talking about today ….? My UI Portal doesn’t say anything about pending deposits like some others have said … I’m very confused and concerned.
In GA also..my UI says it should deposit today but I have nothing pending in my checking account…maybe it will take a few days?
Georgia- Mine was saying paid on Sept 11th, however with it being the wknd I figured the $$ for sure would post on Mon the 14th, I was disappointed when I didn’t see the $$ Mon morning, HOWEVER around 10:30am Mon I received an email saying a deposit had been made for $900, make sure Tuesday to check your card a few times, you’ll be surprised at the times it will show up on your card!
I received my 2 weeks that I certified for Meaning today is the 14th why didn’t I get my lost wages assisted money with my regular weekly benefit amount Is the money already gone anybody know anything for California?

From what I’ve been seeing on social media sites (following threads and such), some states (I live in Illinois) are releasing these funds based on SSN. I’ve found NOTHING officially online to confirm this, but that’s what I’m seeing on social media threads on this topic. Maybe reach out to any other folks you know and find out if they’ve received theirs. Compare the first 3 of your SSN’s.
Illinois here: I received my 900.00 (3 weeks) minus taxes last week. It wasn’t on my normal day of weekly benefits. So today is my normal deposit and it is only my regular unemployment benefits. I was really expecting the other 3 weeks to be included in this payment. How disappointing. I see now by reading and reading up on this that each state will have to apply weekly for the additional 3 weeks. So if it gets approved I’m assuming we’ll see 300.00 deposited each week they are approved for. So back to checking our accounts everyday to see if we can pay the car payment or the electric bill. This is an insane. After the initial statement that we will receive 400.00 additional each week until the end of the year, this is very disappointing. People actually thought they could make the bills, now we’re back to hoping for an additional measly 300.00 for the additional 3 weeks of the supplement here and there, that probably won’t come in the end.
My last name begins with B, if that helps with figuring out when your initial 900.00 will come.
